"Unable to establish connection with the online activation service."


 You will see this message in the following cases:


There is a problem connecting to the Internet to continue with activating your software. 

Resolve the problem with the connection and try again.  If this does not work, the next option is the likely cause..


Sometimes company firewalls will not allow automatic activation.

If you believe a firewall won't allow you to activate, click OK to the error message. 

In the next window choose the option to activate by registration website.

Follow the instructions on the website. 

You will be given an activation code that you can paste back in Timeline Maker.

This will allow you to continue.  


If you are still unable to activate, there may be a technical problem.
